This beautiful cushion cover was created from one of my father's works on volutes, done at architecture school in 1949. Unique and original, it is a must-have for architecture enthusiasts! The fabric has already been treated to set the colors. To preserve its brightness for as long as possible, turn it inside out, wash it in cold water, and dry it in warm air or, if possible, simply avoid using the dryer.
To put on the cover, it is best to hold the padding on one side and slide it into the cover, in other words, do not lay the padding flat. Do not try to pull in the entire side at once; slide it in a little at a time on each side, holding the end of the zipper corresponding to the side you are working on to avoid straining the seams.
Do not try to position the filling during this process; do this once the cover is completely in place, when you can slip your hand inside to shape it. Remember that due to transportation, it may take several days for the cushion to take on a more elegant shape. You can save time and help the process along by patting the cushion vigorously from time to time.
