Original 22" cushion cover "The Refined"
To preserve the beauty of your fabric for as long as possible, we suggest adding salt (one heaping tablespoon for a load of laundry) to your first wash to help set the colors, especially dark tones. Always wash in cold water and be sure to turn your cover inside out before washing. Dry at a low temperature or even at room temperature if possible.
To put on the cover, it is best to hold the padding on one side and slide it into the cover, in other words, do not lay the padding flat. Do not try to insert the entire side at once; slide it in a little at a time on each side, holding the end of the zipper corresponding to the side you are working on to avoid straining the seams.
Do not try to position the filling during this process; do this once the cover is completely in place, when you can slip your hand inside to shape it. Remember that due to transportation, it may take several days for the cushion to take on a more elegant shape. You can save time and help the process along by patting the cushion vigorously from time to time.
